This is my new shawlette. I started crocheting this late, last summer in the hopes that I’d get a piece that I love out of it. It was a good plan. This shawlette has been a staple in my wardrobe this past winter, and I’m looking forward to do some early spring hiking. It’s the perfect size to keep the chill off, and you can wear it many different ways.
I have 70 crochet pattern designs that include free, paid, and unavailable crochet patterns. Holy crap! That’s quite the number. I started designing patterns about 14 years ago, and while I love what I’ve been doing lately, I’m cringing at quite a few of these… okay, more than a few. Some. Of. Them. Are. So. Bad. It’s time to thin out the horrible, and reformat the ones worth saving.
There are two major Knot By Gran’ma projects going on right now. One is a custom order (that will eventually be a crochet pattern for next fall) and the other is a monster doll crochet pattern. I have continued to adapt my schedule to work around the kids, and I’m accomplishing more than I hoped. Happy dancing is going on.
I really don’t want to get any work done today. I’m not sure what happened, but for the first time in like 10 years, I was up in the middle of the night yakking my brains out. Swell. Now my throat hurts. I’m hungry and scared to eat. That being said, I’m going to park my butt on the couch and see what I can do. I can’t sleep, because Dr. Destructo is home. Seeing that he’s 5, I think that would be a bad idea. All bets are off when Hubs gets home though.
