My monster doll finally got himself some fancy arms! I had to go into my project bag and find the arms that I made him from when I first started this crochet pattern. If you’ve been crocheting along through Patreon,
This is my new shawlette. I started crocheting this late, last summer in the hopes that I’d get a piece that I love out of it. It was a good plan. This shawlette has been a staple in my wardrobe this past winter, and I’m looking forward to do some early spring hiking. It’s the perfect size to keep the chill off, and you can wear it many different ways.
So many years ago, I designed this hat. I didn’t have a winter hat at the time and thought this would be awesome. It was totally awesome, aside from my lack of experience writing and designing crochet patterns. The hat was always a little snug, and I’m pretty sure the yardage wasn’t figured out correctly. We were holding 2 different yarns together as one (which I’m a huge fan of), but it seemed like the hat was harder than it had to be in those areas.
This crocheted Great White Shark hat has been my baby this week. The hat has been ripped out a few times to get it just right. There has been cursing and giggling. My kids and Hubs probably think I’m a little off (I am, and they’ve known for years.), and now we have amazing headgear for next year’s Shark Week. Maybe everyone will have one by then. It’s been crocheted along with episode after episode of Shark Week, and I’m just ecstatic with the results.
