Crocheting For Yourself Makes You Happy

Crocheting For Yourself Makes You Happy

Seriously. What are the last few items that you have crocheted for yourself? I used to be really bad at this, but a little motivation to change goes a long way. I crocheted the last Monster Puppet for myself, my upcoming Not a Shawl Shawlette, and the Jackalackackie Hat. I wear the shawlette and hat all the time. Winter soccer practice has been at this creepy (like ax murderer creepy) park, where we have to walk up a giant road to the building with no heat. They have come in handy in keeping me warm.

Selling Art While Staying Happy {One}

Selling Art While Staying Happy {One}

This is for the folks that are currently trying to earn a living wage through selling their art, whether it be paintings, dolls, amazing woodworking, jewelry, or whatever. We should be over the moon, ecstatic, and smiling all the time, because we make beautiful (awesome, insert your own adjective here) things. Then we sell those pieces of art to other people. How lucky are we? We are very, very, very lucky.

Are the Cracks Showing?

Are the Cracks Showing?

The cracks; are they showing? I wonder about this all the time. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like I’ve been on FAKE IT ‘TILL YOU MAKE IT mode for about a month now… which is frustrating because it’s interfering with my plans. I have wonderful plans that I’m not getting to. This makes me wonder if my cracks are starting to show. The stress of this moment in my life (which, yes, shall pass) is monumental.
