Spring Cleaning The Crochet Patterns

Spring Cleaning The Crochet Patterns

I have 70 crochet pattern designs that include free, paid, and unavailable crochet patterns. Holy crap! That’s quite the number. I started designing patterns about 14 years ago, and while I love what I’ve been doing lately, I’m cringing at quite a few of these… okay, more than a few. Some. Of. Them. Are. So. Bad. It’s time to thin out the horrible, and reformat the ones worth saving.

So many years ago, I designed this hat. I didn’t have a winter hat at the time and thought this would be awesome. It was totally awesome, aside from my lack of experience writing and designing crochet patterns. The hat was always a little snug, and I’m pretty sure the yardage wasn’t figured out correctly. We were holding 2 different yarns together as one (which I’m a huge fan of), but it seemed like the hat was harder than it had to be in those areas.

I fell off the face of the earth a little with the Free Pattern Friday Monday posts. Between the craft show and just feeling a little BLAH, this wasn’t important for a little while. I’m feeling recharged though, and we’re back on a brand new day. I think Mondays need to have free patterns on them. Fridays are kind of cool just because it’s Friday. Mondays can be hard sometimes.
