Pug Butts and Agamemnon, a Love Story

Pug Butts and Agamemnon, a Love Story

Did I ever tell you the story about how Agamemnon came to live at our house? No? Well, shoot. It’s a little weird and maybe heartwarming… and worth putting it out there for your enjoyment. This was the first (and hopefully last) time a crochet project inspired the idea of a new best friend. A super fun project turned a little pug into the love of my kids’ (and ours too) lives. It’s pretty amazing.

I’m trying to take more pictures of what’s going on around me. This is proving to be challenging, as I’ve been putting my phone away and just living. Trying to keep myself disconnected from the gadgets hinders photo taking at times. Here are a few shots that I did manage to snap over the past few weeks.

Working with the Dog as a Pair of Slippers

Have you met my dog, Agamemnon? He’s our pug, and he’s kind of awesome. He doesn’t have any really special powers. He can’t run around too much or he runs out of air. He can’t eat too fast, or he choke. That’s no fun. You can hear him breathing or snoring from any other room in the house. He can’t do much… I think because he’s part slug. He is an expert napper and food chaser. He also has a foot fetish.

When Dreams are so Overwhelming You Can’t Breathe

When Dreams are so Overwhelming You Can’t Breathe

Something interesting happened yesterday. I took a hike. Normally that’s not a big deal, but this hike fit in really well with how I’ve been feeling lately. My dreams are a little overwhelming. I have such a giant dream (THAT I WANT TO REACH RIGHT NOW) that I’m a little at a loss of how to achieve it. I don’t know where to start. I have a plan, but I’m not sure if it’s enough to make it turn into a reality.
