This week was a little different than usual. In full disclosure style, I’d love to explain why I was a little more absent from KBG than usual. Kiddo spent 3 days at our local children’s hospital getting treated for daily headaches and running tests. We adapted as well as we could. The awesome news is that all the scary reasons for getting headaches were ruled out. Now to cross our fingers that the headaches do not return… because we still have no idea what is causing them.

The hallowed halls of the Literature Neighborhood was our home for 3 days. They really make everything nice for the kids… and even the adults.

Monster eyeballs: {Behind the Scenes} Eighteen - Hospital Working | Knot By Gran'ma Blog
My makeshift work area was a ripped, leather, fold out couch/bed. My butt went numb every 10 minutes, so there were lots of standing up breaks and even working while standing. Monster eyeballs cheer everyone up.

The view as I was working. Kiddo was bored, and his IV bothered him. We broke it up with Foosball tournaments (one armed… which I won), good old Bugs Bunny cartoons, and video games.

I got a lot of work completed on this Larry yarn holder. I managed to run out of brown thread (which was at home), but got most of the hand stitching done. The lighting was great to work with, but horrible for photos.
