Today’s little story starts with Dr. Destructo. The little bugger caught some sort of virus. a few weeks ago. There was a week long fever and lots of coughing. Germs were flying everywhere. Apparently one of them stuck to me. Jerk germs. Anyway. This little germ was very powerful apparently, and it knocked me on my butt.
I managed to catch bronchitis. It laid me out, and I didn’t have a chance to… oh you know… function. That’s where I’ve been for 2 weeks. My blogging and crocheting and spinning and everything else stopped. The good news is the bronchitis went away. The bad news is a sinus infection took it’s place. Regardless, I’m back to work (mostly from the couch)… just with naps in between. I have been ordered to continue to rest and drink lots of fluids. I have tea. I’ll be fine.
Today (Well, yesterday really… I ended up at the doctor’s instead.) was supposed to be a weird news blog post day. I had a story about a man whose hibernating spiders were stolen while they were blissfully sleeping the winter away, under his house. WEIRD.
I drew out this little sketch, but I’m really not feeling it. I don’t want to color it, and I’ve learned to stop spending my time on things that aren’t making me happy. This picture is a casualty of that new little policy I enacted for myself.
